Tier 3 | Safety Manager-General Industry | Traveler

The Safety Specialist/Manager supports specific project needs by ensuring best practices are implemented, safety compliance requirements are met, and enhance a culture of safety.

• Oversee all aspects of a commercial construction project ensuring OSHA compliance
• General Industry knowledge needed
• Conduct daily safety meetings
• Complete accident reports and conduct accident investigations
• Daily safety audits and inspections
• Oversee all subcontractors and contractors
• Oversee Fall Protection, Scaffolding, Steel Erection, and Excavation and various General Industry duties

• Minimum 5 years direct general industry safety experience required
• Working knowledge of OSHA 1910 general industry standards
• Working knowledge of OSHA 1926 construction safety standards
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills required 
• Proficient Microsoft Office skills
